Renault Trafic Sport Campervan Conversion
This brand new Renault Trafic arrived at our workshop in Wymeswold one sunny day in August for a camper van conversion, and the owner had a very specific brief.
Because our client preferred Wild Camping in remote locations, their Renault Trafic camper van conversion needed to work extra hard.
First of all our client’s camper van needed to be equipped and ready for spending a few days without access to water top-up or 240v hook up facilities. Armed with this brief, Jon and his team worked on the conversion in earnest. Big Blue Sky Campers hope you agree that the end result is a comfortable combination of style and substance.
The furniture was created using Superva lightweight ply and because the client wanted a modern finish they chose Driftwood for their Renault Trafic camper van conversion.
As Big Blue Sky Campers value the reliability of a quality product the kitchenette was equipped with:
- Waeco CRX50 fridge
- Smev 9222 hob/sink combo
- Smev oven.
Jon ensured that the wiring on the camper van was adapted for solar panels were to be retro fitted to the SCA Roof. Our workshop installed a massive 40+ litre on board water tank and LPG gas tank under the camper chassis for those wild camping trips.
We installed a powerful Webasto ST2000 diesel heater as our client values being warm on those cold nights and frosty mornings.
Yet despite all the equipment fitted to the camper van, Jon was still able to comply with the brief of spacious interior, with plenty of storage space on this Trafic camper van conversion.
